Shipping Policy

ATTENTION TO OUR CUSTOMERS IN THE USA

Following new US sanctions on Indian exports, all orders shipped to the USA may incur additional customs duties, import taxes, or clearance charges, which shall be payable by the customer. Please also allow for potential delivery delays due to extended customs inspections.

VKMSilks, a brand operated by M/S Shadhan Creations Private Limited, offers free shipping across India.
For deliveries outside India, shipping is charged at ₹2,500 per saree.

Shipping & Delivery Information

  • Package Dimensions
    • Inner box: Width – 9.5 inches | Height – 13.5 inches
    • Including outer packaging: Width – 12 inches | Height – 18.5 inches
  • We rely on trusted courier and transport partners. If a destination is not serviceable by regular carriers, suitable alternative arrangements will be made, provided the customer shares a complete and accurate shipping address and order details with us at vkmsilksarni@gmail.com.
  • Products ordered in a single cart will be shipped to one shipping address only. For delivery to multiple addresses, we request customers to place separate orders for each address.
  • For domestic shipments, any additional taxes applicable shall be borne by the customer.
  • For international shipments, customs clearance may be required based on the destination country. Any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or clearance charges shall be borne by the customer.
  • Orders will be delivered within 7 working days from the date of order confirmation.
    This timeline does not apply to made-to-order or bespoke products. Delivery timelines for such orders depend on the complexity of the weave and will be communicated at the time of payment.
  • Delivery timelines are estimated and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including courier delays, adverse weather conditions, strikes, or regulatory checks.
  • Shipment tracking details along with courier information will be shared via email once the order is dispatched.

Packaging, Insurance & Acceptance

  • All products undergo strict quality checks and are shipped in tamper-proof packaging.
    If the package appears damaged or tampered with:
    • Do not accept the parcel
    • Take clear photographs of the damage
    • Return the parcel to the courier partner
    Acceptance of a damaged or tampered package will be deemed as acceptance of the product in good condition.
  • All shipments are insured by vkmsilks.com (M/S Shadhan Creations Private Limited) against loss or theft during transit at no additional cost to the customer.

Pre-Orders & Returns (International)

  • Pre-order sarees will be shipped after a minimum of 20 days, or once the made-to-order saree is ready—whichever is earlier.
  • In the event of non-acceptance of overseas parcels due to customs duty charges imposed by the destination country, and if the shipment is returned by the courier, refunds will be processed after deducting the return shipping charges levied by the courier service.

Delivery Timings

  • Courier partners deliver shipments Monday to Saturday, between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
  • Working days exclude Sundays and public holidays.
  • Delivery schedules are subject to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, strikes, and transportation delays.
